Notes from Aunt Elaine Shreves
Jesse Beasley and his wife, left Forbes, Missouri to go to Colorado where some of their children still live. They resided in Forbes in 1911. Jeanette "Jennie" died somewhere enroute. No death certificate has been found in Colorado or Kansas. It is believed she is buried in Colorado.
Jesse died in Pueblo from traumatic systicacomia. His death certificate stated that he had the disease for about 15 days and that it was contracted in Kansas. Kansas was also listed as a former residence. He was in Colorado for eight days and Pueblo for five days before his death. Occupation listed as laborer; age about 60. |
